One of the things I love about being involved with SuicideGirls, is that they truly embrace a womanly body. The models chose their own costumes and help style the shots to be sure the “female gaze” is expressed and that the model is comfy in her own skin. These non-Photoshopped photos are of Sash Suicide, one of SG’s most popular models. She also handles any technical difficulties, so I look forward to those rare moments when my SG subscription (one of the perks of writing for them and co-hosting the radio show) goes wonky.

Anyway, it’s important that we have curvy, luscious, womanly role models and women embracing of their sexy lines and undies and lips and glasses and tattoos.  So, today, I’m celebrating not only Sash & SG, but women everywhere (and dudes, too) who do their daily duty to obliterate the shame and BS duly doused on us by the powers that be (we are all The Man, though). Soooo…. this weekend has been action-packed! Friday night, my girlie Nicole and I were invited to attend Slake Media’s “Dirt” issue launch party at Atwater Crossing, in that fabulous cluster-fuck of galleries. SuicideMoxi and SuicideVivid were there, as the official Slake Pie Girls (pix to follow this week), armed with heavy whipped cream artillery.

And Saturday night, the girls and I had a big Suicide Cinco de Mayo house party! Thanks to Chloe for hosting. Oscar Wilde and her baby Pepita were like peanut butter and jelly all night! He can’t wait to return for some more SG lovin’! In fact, I woke up this morning to this…

So… I’ve been gettin’ hassled by my friends for being M.I.A.  But, I swear, it’s all for good.  (Well, mostly! hehe)  I’ve been working on making some life changes, specifically pondering — should I move? should I go back to school? if so, what for? should I start up at a trade school for one of my creative passions? if so, which one? And, whilst the wonderin’ persists, so does my writing.  And my Sunday night co-hosting gig over at SuicideGirls Radio on Indie 103.1.  Nicole and I had a blast last night, answering your love/sex/relationship/BJ questions, as well as divulging our last 3 weeks.  Nic was in NYC furthering her Occupy movement coverage, and I was here having trysts and taking meetings for my office-place feature script, which is irreverent but not American Pie gross; stars a zaftig 30-something sidestepping bureaucratic land mines in the form of a back office boy’s club, and… well, I don’t want to give any more away. Oscar and I have been serendipitously meeting people that have some prowess and some pull to read/produce my work. With any luck, they will also be into helping me put these nuances on the screen!
